Teens in Trouble

Altamont and Colette present
“200 Troubled Teenagers”
An exhibition of photography by Angela Boatwright and Patrick O’Dell

NY-based photographers Angela Boatwright [former Mass Appeal Photo Editor] and Patrick O’Dell turn their lenses on the new school of kids transitioning into adulthood on their own terms in their duel exhibit “200 Troubled Teenagers” While Angela’s work is comprised mainly of teenage heavy metal fans and Patrick’s attention is on young skateboarders, both artists demonstrate an intimate familiarity with their subjects and subject matter that can only result from each artist’s personal experience growing up within their respective subculture. The older generation telling their stories with the newer.

The show makes its way from NYC and LA to the Colette gallery in Paris on September 3. Both artists will be present at the opening reception.
