Mass Appeal needs interns to work with the editorial/online department. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and reliable with strong organizational and communication skills, and the desire to work hard and be a team player. An internship with Mass Appeal gives detailed insight into the inner workings of a magazine, from editing to production. Interns make big contributions at Mass Appeal, I even high-fived one once.
Primary duties include (but are not limited to) fact checking, transcribing, proofreading, and deep tissue shiatsu massage (optional). There is much opportunity for contribution. It’s a great chance to network with and get up on some game!
