Listen UP

The good people over at Listen Skateboards were kind enough to send us a copy of their new DVD, Viajeros Locos. This full-length flick features solid parts from the entire team, plus a bunch of extra shit that shouldn’t be missed. Brian Brown’s got the first part and sets things off proper, with creative lines and smooth consistency. Danny Montoya takes his ledge skating skills to an all new level and Rob Gonzalez gets the curtains with the last part–skating big, fast and destroying everything before him with pop and style. There’s tons more good skating from the Listen family in this thing, so go pick this one up today. You’ll be psyched you did.

Met Life

The new Metroid is out and it looks dope. I can still remember how surpsised I was to find out it was a shorty underneath the whole time.

X-tra

via snobiety

Remember those “X” caps everybody was rocking when the Spike Lee joint, “Malcolm X,” dropped? Well, XLarge Japan, are taking us back to a time and a place, sans the black righteousness of course. The latest caps are fitted, as opposed to the original snap-backs, but more or less the same in design.

Machine Head

Milk This Cow

Top surprises of this video of the Audio Two’s Milk Dee rapping over 50 Cent’s “I Get Money.”

3. Milk Dee has enough money to shoot a video
2. Milk Dee can still rap.
1. Milk Dee is still alive.

Also, 50 gets money, but Milk been getting the papers.

Get Your Roll On

Strapped for cash? Bust out that camcorder and make a skate video. I know, I know, you had a hard enough time getting your homies to watch your old ones, let alone convincing someone to buy one. But business is good these days, do the research.

Mobstability

M.I.A. ain’t the only one who can dress crazy anymore. Tapping Parisian artist Fafi for their fall collection, Married to the Mob is putting a new face on all-over print tights: yours. Grab yourself a pair and head over to the local discotecha. When Jimmy comes on, you know what time it is.

Rock The Bells: San Francisco

Words: Aron Glatzer

Set to the backdrop of the San Francisco Giants’ AT&T ball park, it’s only fitting that some of the kings of hip-hop perform within view of where baseball’s home-run king has sent more baseballs into orbit than anybody in the history of the game. (more »)

Puff Puff…Last

We try not to endorse drug use of any sort here at Mass Appeal, especially that which could deter someone from making out with you, but you can’t front on this old lady who celebrates her latest birthday the same way she did the previous 99; by lighting up a cigarette.
