Ket Life

By now you should already know the story. The fuzz came down hard on one of our own, someone in particular who has given just as much to the culture as he’s taken from it. To raise money for his defenese, pretty much everyone who’s anyone contributed artwork for an auction. The event was lovely, and Mass Appeal got the exclusivo footage.

Mountain Dew just sent over a box of these freaky deaky Green Label Art bottles. I would drink one, but I dont wanna start hallucinating at work.

A Shoe Askew

These are a pair of Jordan II’s specially designed for the Doernbecher Freestyle Program. The program gives patients the opportunity to create their own Nike sneakers and raises money for the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. I’m all for good causes, but for the childrens’ sake, I sure hope these kids are better at surviving than they are at designing shoes.

Barnes and Noble

The self-proclaimed cakeaholic Dame “What Is My Real Job” Dash has produced a movie about notorious Harlem drug dealer, Nicky Barnes. Allegedly opening in theaters October 18th, you can check with your local bootlegger for a copy in a few weeks.

Nothing But The Truth

Nike’s new skateboarding video, Nothing But The Truth is just around the corner. If nothing else, the video should once and for all disprove the viscious streetwear rumor that SB’s can’t be skated in. Click through for the premiere dates. (more »)
