SAVE A LIFE!

This is just about the best idea I’ve ever heard of. Creature Skateboards is giving away a complete skateboard to the first 12 kids that show up to the Santa Cruz Skatepark with a Razor Scooter. After that, every scooter traded in will get a free deck. Fucking amazing.

Be there the day before Halloween at noon. Don’t be gay. Grow some balls and ride a goddamned skateboard.

BIG DOUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA

This Sunday, make your way over to the NYC’s Chinatown park [under the Manhattan Bridge] for BIG DOUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA! Bring your hammers for Best Trick Contests on the manny pad and giant-ass double set. Included will be tons of  giveaways, skate celebrity appearances and single women down for dinner dumpling dates after the sun goes down. Stinky, sweaty and full of spicy flavor. This sunday, let’s get down in China fucking Town…

Brew Ha Ha

Also, there’s “clean” and there’s “beer clean”. Beer glasses should be hand-washed with a minimum of soap. Actually, baking soda would be a better option. Your beer glasses also shouldn’t be used to drink anything else.

First of all, it’s only beer. 2nd of all, if you can think about all this shit, you aren’t drinking enough.

Abe Bay Bay

Check out this video of Consolidated young buck Abe Olague’s fancy footwork.

Bling

If you only knew my silly little Asian friend. The real price of those diamonds flooding your chain may very well have been limbs of children in Africa. Paul Wall knows what time it is and so does Raekwon, but that’s because they were flown there for Bling: A Planet Rock, an eye opening documentary on conflict diamonds and the lives they affect. Now’s your chance to see it on the big screen (for free) this Thursday in the LES. Official flyer after the click through. (more »)

Ortiz-er

Rik Cordero is a busy man these days. He directed this video for Joell Ortiz’s extremely heartfelt “125 Grams,” just a taste of things to come from Chef boy Ortiz.

Dante Swing

Check out this extensive video (and text) interview with Mass Appeal columnist and music game O.G., Dante Ross.

Lord Have Mercy

As the years haven’t been kind to many former members of the Academy Award winning Three Six Mafia (Gangsta Boo is still fine though), it’s good to see that DJ Paul’s own brother, Lord Infamous, is just as crazy as when we last heard him on the Choices II Soundtrack. The Man, The Myth, The Legacy out October 23.
