Ask any GTA IV player, if you can pull them away from the console, and they’ll tell you that Rockstar spared no expense to authenticate “Liberty City” for the game. In that grand attention to detail, they got Cope2 holding down the walls! Grandgood via Cope2

In his “biggest” and “most audacious” work to date, that crafty little Banksy got up three stories high, remarkably, under the watchful eye of a CCTV surveillance camera. Street art enthusiasts are sure to proclaim this as the greatest thing since the invention of the aerosol can, but he can definitely get the props for eluding those cameras.

Graf caught on tape is usually bad news for anyone involved. Just ask Ket. But for the Photo Kings, their love of the craft trumped any such dangers and allowed them to document the end of an era in NYC graffiti. Check out the latest Mass Appeal TV feature in the player to the right to see how these friends made sure the train pieces they admired could be enjoyed long after the trains stopped running.

To survive the drought caused by the Writers Guild strike last year, most television networks re-uped with reality shows. And it makes sense. You don’t need any clever scripting to get washed up celebrities to murder the tango. Now that the strike is over, however, if TV viewers weren’t already painfully inundated with altered and recorded reality, they will be soon. With audiences getting bored of reality TV, the next logical step in entertainment would be a walkthrough reality show. (more »)

Seen this morning on the F-Train at the Smith Street station in Brooklyn, four consecutive cars with window-downs. Not sure who painted these, but some dedicated dawg(s) found a crack in the system and got over.
Thanks for the heads up and photos from Jason Lucas at Deep Focus.

So the boys across the pond (I think it’s actually the Scotland yard) smacked this kid Daze (not that one) with 28 months for an alleged £270,000 (ed note: that’s like a billion US dollars at least) of graffiti damage. Turns out these two girls snitched on him. See guys, it doesn’t impress all girls.
