Just in time for the Olympics, Nike unveiled their new sportswear line in Beijing, China and invited your boy for a glimpse. Let me be the first (or thousandth) to say, Nike Sportswear is the shit! Well made, classic clothes are a breath of fresh air in this market of over-designed garments. I brought my camera of course, and in addition to taking pictures of the gear and the spaces, I shot everything crazy I saw. Peep some exclusive photos from the trip and check out my blog for more from China and other urban culture explorations. Get up on that Nike Sportswear here.

But how about total strangers who were never welcome in the first place? That was the case in Tokyo, where a homeless woman lived in some dudes closet for an entire year!.

The resident of the home installed security cameras that transmitted images to his mobile phone after becoming puzzled by food disappearing from his kitchen over the past several months.

Ayo, technology. Eventually, the cops came through and found her trapped in the closet. Get ‘em, Kels!

Under normal circumstances, wine and hip hop make for some pretty strange bedfellows, but for the Wale x 10.Deep mixtape release party, the two paired up nicely for a memorable downtown jammy jam.

With DC heavy spitter Wale as guest of honor, the strangest, yet most inviting aspect of the evening was the steady flow of crushed grapes provided by Black Swan Wines. As the night was especially muggy, I opted for the Riesling which, considering the climate, tasted like Gatorade after a marathon. The infamous Nick Catchdubs was on the wheels so the sounds were righteous and by the time Wale showed up to a king’s reception, everyone was good and loose. Rocking through some of his most known unknowns, Wale was backed by UCB, and even joined by Tabi Bonney for a song. As the new tape is unquestionably dope, check out one of our favorite Wale joints from his “Hate Is The New Love” mixtape below, and then listen to/download the entire 10.Deep sponsored “Mixtape About Nothing” here

09-1-thing-about-a-player-remix-f-j.mp3 Wale ft Jae Millz - 1 Thing About A Playa (produced by Southeast Slim)
